Macgregor MR15 (ESC) with futaba attack r/c system? - 40MHz am (assuming of course that I change to the appropriate plug for the receiver).
Thanks in advance for your comments

As some grandmothers would say, "suck it and see!"
Just ensure the receiver (servo) lead is wired the right way round:

A quick read of
http://www.macgregor.co.uk/support/radio/digmac-iv-vi-handbook.pdf
says probably not. The servos in the illustrations have 4 pins. Modern servos/ESCs have three terminal connections. At today's prices, buying one is probably cheaper than killing the old one and/or its RX, and then buying new.

I changed the signal lead a' la futaba - and although there was some response, as Malcolm indicated the result was a 'no go'. Will buy a new ESC from Action at the first opportunity.
Thanks for everyones input
