Noel's Bismarck
« on: June 05, 2011, 11:19:40 pm »

Via email to Mayhem...

Greetings to all at the Modelboatmayhem.

It has been a couple of years now since I logged in to the site, had a look at the site and saw others building “Bismarck” this is the first time I have built anything like this, when I saw the advert from Hachette I said lets have a go, at 73 my wife said “ARE YOU SURE” Well  DKM “Bismarck” is complete and what a pleasure it was to build, learnt a lot, good job I have got patience, one thing of the kit, why they did not include the roundel Swastika fore and aft. A wonderful Model and all who visit me admire her, mind you I had to buy some extra issues because of mistakes. I know I will not try anything like it again, another 3 years would be pushing things a bit.

My very best wishes to you all.
Noel
