Dynamic Oval Towing System

Found this on youtube, I though it may interest some, vid is 2007 so the ideas been out there for quite a while, anyone seen a real tug or built a model with this system in place?

MacDuff Shipyard built a tug with this system for Peterhead Harbour back in 2008. Bill Wood built the model of her before she was launched and I think could supply plans and a hull if you got in touch with him
