This is "the big one". Just under 8ft long and 120lb. Other boats know to keep out of its way now.
This class was built during 1941 (5 of them). I chose "Gold" because she was shorter than the others and (just) fitted the
trailer. Again, the whole top lifts off to make placing the batteries and ballast easier. I don't know if you can pick it out on the photos but as an "anti-aircraft" device, the funnel is offset to port, the mainmast central and the foremast offset to starboard. Quite a difficult build this one, which would not have been possible without the superb service got from the archives of Dundee Council. I'll try to put a few more detailed photos on the next note. It looks like I am taking over the column...but some of you asked to see the ships. Bear with me, only 4 more ships to go!
