Waiting for a hull/deck for finish one...thought this might be a good idea as it only goes in straight lines.

I'm definately fancying one...remember the old saying "serious fun comes in straight lines".

Install a 1/2 horsepower brushless motor...SERIOUS fun!

Well John, you know I love my drag racing...can't afford the full size nowadays, so a model it has to be. Not even sure I can afford this one, but hey...it's only money!

It's slow:
http://www.graupner.de/de/newsdetail/a9b7990c-d6ef-4e3f-8937-4e385e76b1c1

Built in China and (as usual) overpriced by Graupner.
And (as usual) not available yet...

Regards, Jan.

Really wants a big brushless motor in it, I guess...not fussed about how it turns, I only need it to go in a straight line. Very quickly...

If that's the case, I wouldn't bother about scale looks, which will slow the boat down considerably when approaching 140 mph...

I'm not really fussed about the scale look of it Jan...I just want something to cover a scale 1/4mile very quickly.

I fancy this... http://www.astecmodels.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=1144 This should do the job! I didn't really notice the price of the Drag Star, so the rigger is a definate saving! Depends on the bank manager...
