A second model?
« on: July 03, 2011, 06:50:11 pm »

Last year  I bought thewriter a Mantua Amalfi as a first boat to build. He is loving it, has learnt a lot, bought some tools & now would like another for his next birthday. He wants it to be a surprise so I have to choose. What do you recommend as a second boat to build - a little more advanced but not too complicated. I'd be grateful for your advice. I chose the first one by looking here & it's been perfect. Thankyou.

Maybe something completely different like this

http://www.cornwallmodelboats.co.uk/acatalog/mantua_mincio.html

or this

http://www.cornwallmodelboats.co.uk/acatalog/mantua_le_madeline.html

These are both static display boats - not radio controlled.
