IC boats have not been allowed for many years now, , i guess they were banned at the lake about 10 years ago, - i heard this was due t othe promotion of the nature reserve section of the lake- dont know if thats true but the byelaws were modified some years ago, they also stopped the open water swimming around the same time too..

if you are coming to our regatta a polite request, the club will supply tables upon which models can be exhibited, but our usual supplier cannot loan us the same number of tables as in previous years so if you as a modeller have a folding table please can you bring it !- many thanks

We came, we sailed, we got wet! But a good day cut short by rubbish weather. Some excellent boats again, of nite the giant blue supply vessel with lot@  of lights on, rowing boats playing music, fast electric, and an amusing rescue behind le that decided to park itself under the bridge when it rained, causing 3 people to hunting down the lakeside for said boat. a very wet Guy Bagley only said one word to us as it rained, which is unprintable on here, but raised the biggest laugh the day! Great day out great boats and a friendly bunch of guys and girls thanks for a good mornings sail.

Thank you all for coming,  while it lasted it was a great day, with around 25 boats on the water most of the time.

Next year Noah is making a guest appearance! :}

My special thanks to all the members and organisers for all their efforts, and to the Berkshire air Ambulance fundraisers, who did well despite the shortened event.
