In Germany we always sail in swimming pools or natural lakes, that`s no problem for us.

I think an event which would suit you guys well is the annual regatta held at Black Park in Berkshire. This is a large spring fed lake which is also deep, and they have (or at least did have) quite a large submarine following, but also many other types of model too.

Well Andy,

i believe our interests in ponds and lakes are not very different. My sailboats like a lot of area, and if it's not deep enaugh, it's not really fun, because the loss of speed. I love lakes with nice wind, a sandy bottom and a depth of about 1,5m.

However, the date should be next year far away from the olimpic games in London.
