1/96 HMS Cumberland
« on: July 19, 2011, 08:03:54 pm »

Hi all again,

well this is only my second posting since my newbie one of last week, I am still planning to start the 1/96 Deans HMS Zulu, but I have a confession to make, I have just bought a 1/96 Cumberland, totally complete, I am so excited about this one, as its a corker, I am collecting on Thursday 21/7/11, I have not seen her in person yet, but her photos are very impressive, I just hope she is, don't worry I will post lots of pics for everyone to ponder over, I will be very interested in all your views etc to what you think of her.

Look forward to all your comments

Good luck with your Zulu build. I completed Dean's HMS Nubian earlier this year, piccies on this site. If I can give you any tips I'm happy to do so.

Good luck with Zulu.  I built the Deans Tribal as Mohawk about 7 years ago and it was an enjoyable build if a little frustrating due to some printing errors on the plastic and sparse and at times irrelevant instructions but its worth sticking with it the end result is worth it.

Hi all,

yes it was for sale on ebay with Richmond & Shilo, Richmond has gone over to Holland, please don't ask me where Shilo has gone.

Here are a few pics, the super structure breaks down into 5 pieces, two channel radio, will handle everything, if you want anymore pics please let me know.

Please let me know what you think.

Hi,

being a newbie I am not sure what a grp hull is ?, what I do know it is a Fleetscale Hull with a Sirmar semi-kit for the superstructure etc.
