Sheerline Type V11c photos
« on: March 07, 2007, 06:41:33 pm »

Now I've got the hang of the photo thing there's no stopping me. Here are some pics. of the excellent Sheerline Type V11c painted in the exact camouflage pattern of U201 as depicted in the book ' Vom Original zum Modell ' Uboottyp V11c. This was the boat of one of the aces (Adalbert 'Adi' Schnee) who survived the war. The boat was sunk with all hands on17th Feb. 1943 under a different captain.

Super model and excellent paintwork. It is one of the better examples of how effective camouflage can be. Not easy to immediately see what it is or in which direction it is travelling. With a good sea running even more effective.

Well done.
