Heres a few that I regularly have when I cant be bothered cooking a meal or when I am busy in the workshop.
A 1/2 inch thick slice of smoked gammon, well cooked, and fettled to fit in a suitable length of well buttered 'Tiger Tail' with some lettuce, toms and sweet chili sauce.
or Thick sliced Hovis with sausages (decent ones of course) mushrooms black pud ulster fry and a fried egg, sticks to the ribs that one.
or , a cob of sirloin steak,( medium rare) loads of fried onions, loads of English mustard in a lump of baguette, again, well buttered.
By way of 'afters' you cant go wrong with a crunchy peanut butter and cherry jam sandwich, very moorish.
With all this talk of scoff, I must now go and make some nice smoked bacon butties, liberally anointed with HP Fruity Sauce! A packet of 6 slices of bacon is just enough for 4 rounds of toast.
And finally, you can allways tell when you have had a good butty, because you need to take a shower after eating it.
