Whilst i agree with all thats been said regarding, punishment for  the rioters in England,..What I saw yesterday,at a Petrol station in Dundee,Scotland, beggers belief,a sign, that read, On instruction from the Police,we refuse to sell petrol to anyone in a Pastic petrol can, this is due to the riots in England,...Do they think that its going to be posted to England?????

...Hi Guys...

Thanks for that news...
Thats probably put the Mockers on our fishing trip this weekend as I carry the outboard engine fuel in a Plastic Fuel Can...

Never Mind the Water Cannons...A Sub Machine Gun will stop them rioting all the Quicker...

...Best Regards...Norry...

It's very civilised of these rioters to buy their petrol. I always assume that they pinched it.

But if they are in a plastic petrol container, how are they going to get out of it to pay?

Well spotted tobyker. I guess you are lucky. The last time I made light of an unfortunate error in posting, I was pounced upon as if I was a medieval heretic/lunatic!!!!!!!!!

Pretty much all of the petrol stations around here are self service, pay by card at the pump setups, and unmanned.  Ideal for a would be molotov cocktail maker.  All that the stations barring the use of hand held containers are doing is pushing trade away to the self serve big boys.  Since most people using the containers will be doing so perfectly legitimately and for a legal purpose, it follows that they will also be filling their cars at somebody elses' unmanned station.
I bet these stations are still selling the containers, though.
