with lipos i gather that there charged voltage is higher than the pack states. if you have 2 2s batteries and there the same ah rating a c rating then run them in series and get 4s.

but My head is spinning, !!!! just cannot get the hang of those, Beeps,, and music tones,,,  I think I've had every combo possible accept no reverse, !!! "Must be getting old, !!!!

lol took me nearly 2 hours to get use to them beeps. right so you get the beeps and youve heard the first loop and after the first beep youve let go. now it should go beep then beep beep. after beep beep press forward again then let go.

if your using 2 X 2s then make sure they the same type same mah and c rating. And set your esc to 4 cell in your running them in series. 2 cell if your paralell

Hi, I have a RC Ferrari Hydroplane (built to a high std) coming from the States, I am going to convert to brushless watercooled, 3600kv & 60 a I'm going to upgrade the running gear and rudder & scoop,
any ideas or info would be most helpful and appreciate  to assist me on this build. ideas to make this a stable racer would be great,
length is 32 inches  10 inches high beam 14 inches weight approx 10/12 lbs

It says 10-12lb here ?,either way it will never be a racer, ive seen a scale dumas gas hydroplane run and it wasnt good it just wouldnt turn for anything and the guy couldnt belive how fast my zippkits went round the lake without backing off the throttle lol.If you just want to get it running thats fine but just dont expect too much.

Thanks for that Mike, (I thnk I've got it) much thanks,
I have just re-weighted the Hydro and mine is actual at 6.5 lbs dead on, !!! I do know other makers weigh in at 10/14 lbs, any how, so long as I get a decent speed, that will be fine by me,

Scale speed would probs be arround 15 mph which to me would be a little slow.6.5 lb is still quite heavy,my 40" cig only weighs 4 lb bang on.You are going to need quite a bit of power to get it moving well.

Big outrunner on two 3 s packs giving 6s should get it moving. Those little motors with high kv wont move it,get  at least a 125 amp esc.
