after doing a deal with a guy and getting a started pt 15 in part payment i decided to continue with it, came with the compact navy already fitted, little else done though,  after a few bath trials i decided it needed a bit more water to see how it sits and handles, after setting the rudders and seeing how it handled a full charge i let the young un have a go

at moment its running on 7.2 nimh but i  think it needs more, wondering if the robbe 4105 will take 12volts via a pair of 6 volt 1.3 ah robbe sla`s, weight wise the pair of batteries are just slightly heavier than the 5 ah nimh i had in it on the test

I ran my PT15 using a 9.6v 4300mAh racing pack, a Deans Marine Kestrel motor [water cooled] and a fine pitch 2 blade 35mm prop.
