Its good to have a decent forum back well Done Martin.

A short while back on the 'old' forum someone posted the name and author of a book containing Royal Navy Patrol Craft. I did write the name down but forgot where I left it. I beleive the book was written by some ex-RN officer Ben something or other, I think the price was under a tenner. Can anyone rember the title ISBN etc.

Thanks
Daryl

Hi Jorg,
Not exactly, we are building a Vosper MTB 73ft Mk2 and my son as a school project he is working on so the book is perfect for both of us.

Sam doesn't know about the P class yet, he has that surprise to come. No doupt one of us will pester you for info when he comes around to building it. He did spot the two pictures one of HMS Velox and the P-class on Mayhem and liked to look of them so he should a have a nice surprise in a few months time.

Just over 300g for HMS Velox, I bet that was interesting to fit everything in, do you have any tpictures of how you crammed every thing in there? I have just finished the Revell Schnellboot with all standard size r/c gear and it was a tight fit. So off down the lake the weekend to see if it works, I used two Expo motors in series.

Thanks for all your help
