Mailboat 'Marion' on Loch Lomond
« on: November 08, 2011, 12:13:16 pm »

Spotted the Macfarlane's mailboat Marion out of the water on a visit to Balmaha, Loch Lomond, last month. I've previously photographed this boat and thought it would make an extremely attractive model, so the opportunity to photograph the hull out of the water was irresistible.

Macfarlane's have been running this service since 1948 and it is possible to sail on her.

Will try to post some pics soon in " ANY ONE BUILDING WW2 IJN SHIPS".  I can now dry assemble all the levels on the pagoda but loads of work still to do.
