Fillers
« on: September 01, 2011, 03:48:08 pm »

I usually use humbrol model filler when building in styrene. However, it is not the best of things to apply, especially in corners and angles. Has anyone come across a similar filler that has, perhaps,  a long nozzle which allows you to put a small amount exactly where you want it. I usually end up smoothing it with my finger and having a lot to sand off.

Yuo can thin Humbrol Model Thinner with their Liquid Poly or Cellulose Thinners in a similar way to mixing cement, then apply it with a brush into the nooks and crannies. The brush will be somewhat less suitable for detail work afterwards though! ( but can be cleaned with the liquid poly or cellulose thinners afterwards.)

Listen politely, nod approvingly, then do what you want, works for me!
