Fast boat scratch build

I'm looking at building a fast electric boat but I have no idea what type to build thinking running it on a rs 540 sports tuned but I have no idea what shape any one have any ideas

build a monohull for starters then go on to more adventurous shapes later. use the 540 motor with a 30mm submergered prop and you should see a nippy little boat.
