hi speedcontroller is a astec mhf2 120 amp 12-30 cells motor is a Graupner BB700 8.4 turbo the boat is fast and stable i think the hull
will take a lot more power something to try a a later date . the shaft is A complete direct drive unit consisting of motor housing and mount, shaft with 4mm (5mm for 800 unit and 3/16 dog drive for the super long 550mm version) threaded end, brass or alloy(3291)outer tube with bearing and teflon thrust washer, appropriate coupling and mounting hardware. The motor housing has a flange that will screw down to a wooden mounting block - captive nuts and screws are provided. Alternatively a mount that goes over the shaft can be made. The unit shaft outer is removeable and can be cut down. There is a small amount of length adjustment available. The installation is completed by cutting the inner shaft to length to suit.

Hi Mike!

Good to see you are still into the fast electrics. Great looking boat, who did the paint job?
Cheers,
Ian.
