Hi All,
I'm in the process of building my 1st model boat ! A Fairey Huntsman 34". I thought I will make it a bit easier on myself and bought a kit with a fibreglass hull. I built myself a stand for it and I'm now ready to start
The last picture show where i am with the hull frames. More to follow as i progress....
I haven't yet decided on the motor/esc/batteries, but one thought was this Overlander Brushless motor which is a T4250/06 800kv, a reasonable size motor which should have lots of torque but would it have enough RPM at only 800kv (with a 14.8v lipo it will give me 800*14.8=11840 rpm) ?
I have a 3 blade 40mm prop on a 4mm shaft at the moment, I guess i want the ability to turn a reasonable amount of speed.
