CRITTERS IN THE GARDEN
« on: September 15, 2011, 10:07:46 am »

Now, me and the kids love critters in the garden, especially spiders.........honestly we love them........magnificent little creatures...........

This morning whilst crearing away the sweet peas and runner beans...this little fella came wondering out.........a body about the size of 10 pence piece..he was a biggun...........never seen the like of him/her before, and have tried to find one on the net but to no avail.............

does any one know what breed he is, please.......

And before anyone tries to scare the s*** out of me...........I lived in Oz and it AIN'T  a Red Back come to haunt me, lol

neil.

That spider is a Female, only they are big, the Males are skinny little things, and are usually eaten after Mateing. Bit like humans really!! ;)

Ya must have taken an egg, back with ya. O0 O0 O0

Back in the data base, aka brain, is some recollection of 'white' stripe on young females ?
Reckon need to refer to entomologist to confirm species.
