Battle-crafts / Model Boat Fittings
« on: September 16, 2011, 06:06:34 PM »

Hello everybody!
Just to let you know that we produce precision engineered Model Boat Fittings, and specialise in 1/24th scale. We have a full set of fittings for the Fairmiles, MTBs, and Perkasa plus many more. Our firm used to be called Precision Controls, maybe you remember us? We are now in full production again and have listed many of our fittings on ebay with the name "battle-crafts". We also supply fittings for Fleetscale.
Thankyou for taking the time to read this article. My email adress is adriansmith90@hotmail.co.uk

Using the search function on eBay you will see "advanvced" to the right handside of the search button, click that and then click on "by seller" and type in "battle-crafts"

Looking at the fittings they look very good quality

hi Everyone,
Just to say that we have even more fittings listed on ebay now, for MTBs, Fairmiles etc.  A good selection of Armaments in 1/24th scale and some in other scales. Precision engineered from resin, white metal and brass.
Look under "model boat fittings" on ebay, our user name is "Battle-crafts". Our products all have a green baize background in our photographs. We used to be called "Precision controls" you may remember us. We are now in full production again.
Thankyou for taking the time to read this,

Very nice... :-))  I'm only just up the road from you in Appledore, have you got a shop or just working from home ? Either way, is it possible to save postage and time by picking stuff up from you direct?  :D

As a new contributor I am most impressed by the range of Battlecrafts fittings for the 1:24, Perkasa which I am now intending to complete, [original wooden hull model] after some 30+ years [ another story]
In parallel I am however starting the construction of another 1:24 [fibreglass hull] version with the intention of replicating the "Brave Borderer".
For both of the above I would however welcome advice as to the missile launching platforms which may have been, or intended to be employed.
Although I have found some sources including Flight Magazine [1967-good material], Libyan Navy, in addition to SS11&12  missiles, nord vosper systems and exocets, I cannot find any detailed drawings, nor models other than the Vosper model, Flight Magazine 1967, of the platforms themselves.
