Scale confusion
« on: September 28, 2011, 02:23:00 pm »

Hi,
The more websites I look at the more confusing it gets.

My next boat is one half inch to one foot. (1/2" to 1ft.)

What scale do I need for the crew and furnishings

Where can I get the crew and furnishings.

Thanks in advance.

Regards

1:24 unless I am mistaken.

1" to 1' would be 1:12.
1/2" to 1 ' is 1:24.

george turner do figures at that scale as do many other suppliers.....so hopefully you have several options - depends on what era you are modelling and what kind of boat...

fittings at that scale  should be  possible,  mac mouldings do a fair selection at 1 to 24th,  what are you looking for ?- what type of vessel are you planning ?

Hi,
Thank you for the replies.
I plan to do a 1930s tug but I would like to really detail the wheelhouse and decks.
