{-)  Dicky D  the main problem is that you will be equiped with a helo carrier when we will need your ship for our aircraft  %%  Politicians are so nice actually on both side of the channel !

Anyway it's better to give power to stupid polititian than to hysteric ones like Napoleon ... Then hopefully it still rugby to fight our best ennemy but that time just to have fun at the pub : some time fun is for you some time for us.

An Englishman, Irishman and Scotsman walk into a bar.

The Englishman says "where's the Welshman"?

The bar man replies......

Still in New Zealand!!!  {-) {-) {-) {-) {-)

Wasn't that part of the problem? - The Englishmen stayed in the bar when all else had gone to bed?

Most of the problem I think......

The Welsh team were very humble in victory...... I suppose they aren't used to winning!!!!!

I know that on the day we were beaten by a far better team -  but the really annoying part is when you think back to
what we did to the Aussies last year and what they did to the Franch you know the team is far better than it played all during the World Cup.
They are getting as bad as the football team who can never perform on the big occasion
Still look on the bright side Leicester Tigers will have all their team back soon and hopefully will start winning again

So much for 'specialists'  {-) {-) {-) - South Africa are on the same plane out of NZ as England....

The stats point to an NZ / Wales final, although with a lot of the top NZ players out through injury, it must be touch and go if they beat the Wallabies!!!!!

Allez les Rouges!!!!! cymru am byth!!!! I will have an 'interesting' day on Saturday : I am Welsh and the missus is French!!! Domestic harmony? You have to be kidding {-) {-) {-)
Carl

PS - Perhaps NOW the UK TV and press will talk about the other teams in the competition instead of just blatherin' on about England.  It makes me laugh sometimes - I can clearly remember the English rugby standard of the late '60s and '70s.  Wooden spoon anyone?

Carl hark your mind back to February this year - your beloved team only just got a win over ITALY and if they had had a decent kicker
you would have been down and out.  Everybody can have a bad game.  Personally I hope the French win as we will never hear the last
of it if Wales get to the final.

Dont write Italy off so easily............they are a bit like the French - VERY unpredictable!!!!

I would lay money on the Italians vying for quarter final honours in 8 years time (not the next world cup - the one after). Look at how Argentina have come on over the last 12 years or so....now 8th in the world rankings, above Scotland (10), one behind Ireland (7) and two behing England (6).

Anyroad - at least we can all have good natured banter following rugby..............if it was football, knives would be drawn and violence almost guaranteed.

How is it?

Rugby is a game for hooligans played by gentlemen and football is a game for gentlemen played by hooligans....

Gatland has put a huge amount of faith in a predominantly young team.... For instance, George North, 19 years old and has played for Wales more times than he has played for the Scarlets....
Choosing Rhys Priestland at 10 instead of Hook worked and Steven Jones not even in the starting 22, risky but it worked well....... Warburton, Faletau, Lydiate, Halfpenny, Jonathan Davies, Scott Williams have all played exceptionally well with a maturity belying their age....

He has managed to put together a team with a good mix of youth and experience and the team has worked well together.

Most important of all there are no major injury issues in the Welsh camp, it must be a good feeling for Gatland to be spoilt for choice instead of "having to make up the numbers"

Go Wales.....

Don't write off the Aussies just yet, Richard, however, I have to admit that the All Blacks are the team to beat. If they don't win the World Cup in their own country, the whole of New Zealand will be absolutely inconsolable <:(

The French blew England off the park in the first half :-)), and even Jonny Wonder Boy couldn't save them this time. Wales were very impressive, but I don't believe that they can win the final - assuming they get there, that is. I think whoever wins between NZ and Australia will lift the trophy.

Peter - ordinarily, I would agree with you that the AB's would be the team to beat.............however, they have a few injury worries to a few key players (as do the Wallabies!!!), and that WILL affect their game plan.  Both Wales and France do not have this issue.

France have chosen to field the same team that beat England - history does not foretell that this is a good move for them (they lost each time they did this before!!).

Patriotism aside, I genuinely believe that, so long as the boys keep their heads, Wales really DO have their best chance ever of pulling off an incredible feat.

France will put up stiff resistance, but will sucumb to frustration and indiscipline should things not go their way.  Yes - Wales have a mass of expectation on their shoulders............but the team is on the other side of the world and not in Cardiff........so the immediate 'clamour' will not be quite so noticable to them.

Roll on Saturday......................oh boy!!!!!!!!!
