Morning all,

Prompted by one of the senior management to intro myself, so here I am...

There are one or two faces here I recognize from other forums that deal with aeromodelling, so greetings to you....

I've been an avid aeromdeller since thel ate Eighties, fly fixed with and have achieved my A cert. Lately my interests have turned to modelling boats due to the influence of a very good friend of mine..
My current project is the Choupette model boat featured some 16 years ago..The model itself is being constructed from scratch and so will the steam engine and boiler. Pictures to follow.
I have quite a well furnished workshop, a lathe, two mills, bandsaws, chop saws well enough to turn a tree trunk into saw dust....

One of my other pet interests is traction and stationary engines, I'm currently refurbishing a Petter A1 and a couple of Villiers mk10-12s.

I have a lot to catch up on in terms of reading threads and posts, so I'll leave you to your tea and toast for now.

Welcome Chippie,
There is a host of experience of steam builders on here so don't be shy to ask ANY questions.
