I am thinking of starting a new project. However, i havnt built a boat for a while and not sure what to go for. I have been thinking of buying a plan and hull to build from. I was quite taken by the Moorhen from modelboat magazine. Alternatively I have been looking at the deans marine compact kits. I have a lot of building experience and am currently finishing off a WW1 1:5 scale own design plane. I would value any advice on experience of the compact kits and also of the plan built route and any other suggestions of other boats. I was thinking of a miliatry boat but couldnt see a plan and hull (for reasonable price) of something interesting. was thinking of one which may transport planes or has a heli pad.
