It's like a joke !  removal of a model lighthouse from a pound because it's a danger as a model hit it !   And the council was involved in this decision

Hi All, On this matter i would just like to say that i have been in contact  with the council for over a week now and we are both working together in sorting this issue out.

Yes slap the complainant with a wet kipper and tell them don't be so stupid... :police:

I know someone    who accidentally sank a fellow members boat the other week .. So using wbc theory all models must now be banned..

The council have said they are like the rest of us and want to see people down at the lake enjoying themselves. So for the time being all i can say is things are going very well and we are all happy. :-)) :-)) :-))

Yes, and I think there's a thread on here somewhere about it. a USN carrier group were off the coast somewhere when the USN carrier captain recieved a radio message to change course. The USN carrier captain refused and advised the other party to change course as he was a full carrier group from the USN. The other party advised the carrier to change course but the captain refused and continued to order the other party to change their course.

The other party said they could not change course as they were a lighthose and said it was the USN carrier group#s decision what to do next as they'd soon run aground if they did not change course!

Not sure if this is an urban myth though!

Wirral may have removed an obstruction from New Brighton boating lake, but Conwy Council are in the process of putting a huge marble statue in the middle of the boating lake at Llandudno's West Shore !

The monument has always suffered from vandalism and is presently wrapped in an iron sphere in the middle of a small pool, now they think the adjacent 0.75m. deep boating lake will prove more of a deterrent to vandals.

I'm glad it's gone It did get in the way as did the silly round things that surrounded it. very childish really. And the water in the lake does stink as well.
