Motor Mine Sweepers 119 ft Short boat
 
My brother wants to build a working model of  a wooden
motor mine sweeper  of  WW11.
Can anyone tells us where to find info, plans, etc, on
these boats


They were purpose built Admiralty Type Motor Mine Sweepers 119 ft long (short boat ) This was the first of the MMS classes produced in 1940. They were known as Micky Mouse Boats. There were aprox 200 built.

we do a semi kit in 1/48th scale, check out www.sirmarmodelships.com, I think its still on there, we are moving things around at the moment.
