When HMC&E was eaten by the Inland Revenue, the former preventive work went to the Border Agency (or whatever they were called that week). At that stage 'Nellie' was given a set of fetching red, white and blue stripes down each side and a subtle logo (!!). Apart from that there was no colour change - there being only one boat of that type in service with the UK. The US Coastguard operates dozens of similar V-T Island Class vessels with their white colour scheme, but that variant doesn't have the "blockhouse" Ops Room immediately behind the wheelhouse/bridge. It also has a more complicated lattice mast.
