Live in a small flat not much room the gig clips on to key board tray will have to go to sons garage to do all the messy jobs painting and the like. This is my work space but if thing are put away and i keep the place tidy will get the job dun.when i have stopped work it has to go up on to wardrobe you can just see gig top of picture. have 2 more boats in room as well

Sorry all not bean well do surfer a bit from depression not because of model do suffered from bad back but still not to bad now. back to the Bismark   got up to part 7 get part 8 to morrow only one problem so far if you could call it that,a slight difference in hull base thickness                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               This was not a problem it had to be filed and sanded so reinforcing timber could be glued on. pic,s sofar

Looks like a seriously impressive model - great work!  :-))

Was it entirely built from the Hachette/Amati partwork, or did you make any scratchbuilt modifications and additions? The level of detail on the superstructure, fittings, ship's boats, etc. (not to mention the two Arado floatplanes) is superb.

No the only nods where cutting out timber to get lights and motors for the guns in.HO and the running gear from Germany not the part works running gear got vid of her on the water now she sails beautifully. The header on the vid should read B.M.B.S and not C.
