hi all

has anybody got some pictures of the tug Banckert?
& what would be a good motor to put in?

Hi Darryl and welcome to the club.   :-))

There is a picture of the Banckert under model tugs on Mayhems front page. This is a popular model and some members have built her. I'm sure someone will step in with some build pictures for you

I build it when I was around 14. (many years ago  %) ) The kit was from Billings Boat and it had just been released with the ABS hull.

For propulsion I used a 540 / 12V  type motor run on a 6V/3Ah Sealed Lead Cell it gave many hours of sailing time on one charge.

I still have it, but it needs a need cell and some serious TLC.
