Aziz - a day at the lake

Here is a Aziz, buildet by a club-mate, from todays second voyage. At full speed she is taking water through the hatch, this needs to be altered. On the water shes a beauty.

If your friend would like, I'd be happy to 'fix' his leaking hatch for him.  I'd even return the boat some day, maybe...
Not being that familiar with the Aziz, if the hatch is in the rear deck, clear packing tape works well.  Doesn't look very nice but will keep the water out.  Ran into that problem with another of 'Slipways's kits, and from a distance you can't see the tape much anyway.  Saw something about using some flimsy plastic wrap and silicone as a seal, been thinking about that. 
Oh well, don't expect I'll have to watch the mail for a large package so guess I'll just have to admire the 'Aziz' from a distance...

PS - Reduce the ballast a little?

I don't ship any water in mine, but I guess I haven't tried any high-speed turns yet. I have noticed the odd 'blob' of water on the hatch, so maybe I've just been lucky...

I didn't fit the front mast on mine as I know (even thought it's removable) I'd have dealt it a side-swipe and knocked it flying at some point!

Thats just what i thoughted too as i saw her driving on the water.

It is him to unsafe to send the Aziz over to GB... ?;)
