Futaba Challenger 6 channel
« on: October 20, 2011, 12:39:08 pm »

Hi all, I have had the above set (6NL, 40 Mhtz. FM) for a while, got it 2nd hand and had to strip out all the black wires from the negative rail and fitted new Tx battery and it works nicely now.

It comes with an 8 ch. rx. R118F.

My query is, what are the sockets at each end on the receiver, one labelled OSC (oscillator?) and the other B/B or is it Ch. 8 or battery?

kind regards, Roy

B/B

If you look closely its actually 8/B ch8 or battery

The OSC sockets are DSC .... Direct servo control.  You connect a lead from it to the trainer port on the TX... it means you can do a servo testing without transmitting a signal

Hi essex...  Thanks very much for the response, most appreciated.
I do not seem to have a 'trainer' socket on the 6 ch Tx.  that I have, but nice to know.
regards Roy
