Are MIG 400 Motors internally suppressed?
« on: November 07, 2011, 08:28:25 am »

Hello All

I have a MIG 400 7.2 volt motor and was wondering if I should fit external suppression capacitors or if the motor is already internally suppressed?

Many thanks for any advice.

Cheers

If you can't tell, and I certainly don't know, the safe bet is to fit them.  Fitting a bigger capacitor rarely does much good, but two of the same size is a different matter - both will work.  Better to fit small cheap components that might be redundant now, than have to take chunks of the boat apart later.
