Dredgers
« on: March 20, 2007, 11:50:45 pm »

I have almost finished the Tito Neri and the next build is to be a trailer dredger, (the one I work on)
So I'll be picking the brains out there for help as it will have to be a plank on frame (i think thats the term) well made of wood and in sections so that I can transport it with some sort of ease,
Once again I have some idea as to what I want (would like) it to do and i'll get onto that as I require info.

Richard, (not told spanner yet) ;D

Davie, the Coquet is a river in Northumberland... and like every good river it has to have a mouth - this particular one is at Amble! I agree, it sounds weird - but i guess its 'cos it doesn't run off the tongue like Avonmouth, Teignmouth or Tynemouth do eh??  :D

And a very nice marina, as I recall.

There's also the trip to Coquet Isleand or a row on the River Coquet from below Warkworth castle to a hermits lodging: very pleasant on a sunny afternoon
