Some holiday snaps re the above that you may enjoy.
Plank on frame?!
Amazing what a bit of planking hides%)
Some things are new
And some not so
Providing your kitted out with PPE your welcome to come aboard and have a look around - steady though - the ladder's full of woodworm but there's plenty of replacement bits below! The following shows health and safety awareness is imperative, notice the guys fitting the prop tube? all the gear eh?

Thanks for posting those, tt - really interesting. Mind you, those guys have it soft - Fife's used to build their yachts on the foreshore in the west of Scotland! (And just checking - those were steel-toed socks the guy with the chainsaw was wearing, weren't they?)

It was the guy standing on the branch that he was cutting off that got me - good job there was no one at home when he'd done!

The man sanding the yacht hull seems to be wearing a face mask
- who said health and safety was a non-issue
Good photos, tt1

Re: amazing what a bit of planking hides...
I know one vessel which had everything replaced but the keel, it was considered a rebuild and taxed on the year of her build. Could they be doing the same kinda thing?
Thanks for the great pictures!
