Krick Avanti 2
« on: November 08, 2011, 12:35:32 pm »

i have finished installing all the internals in the boat and all is working fine now. ready for "sea trials"
problem is, there seems to be no obvious way to secure the top of the boat to the hull.
anyone know how it is supposed to be secured or how i can secure it safely?
thanks

Isn't there supposed to be a hook bonded to the underside of the top molding with a rubber band holding it down to a similar in the bottom shell?

  Regards  Ian.

there is a little hook stuck to the underside but i couldnt work out what it was for. there dosent appear to be one in the hull.
i could bond one on i suppose. would a normal rubber band be strong enough to hold it together or can you buy special ones?
thanks

Any old small hook, screwed into a small piece of wood and glued down will do!
I used to use net Curtain Wire Hooks ...
