50 inch Eskgarth

Here's some of my 50 inch 1/24 eskgarth at New Brighton today, yes that is a car battery!

Garson it is a lovely boat & hard to tell it is actually a model. How heavy is it & what kind of power train are you using, ?. Mick B.

Hiya, it's powered by a 12v 32ah battery connected via a standard speed controller to a 12-24v computer motor. The whole thing weighs in excess of around 90 lbs !

hi garston my father is building a 1/48 smit rotterdam  and i built the terryfox icebreaker at  62 inchs the big models look very impressive on the water your tug looks great well done it looks like the real thing on the water  :-)
