We have plenty of photos of Newhaven-Dieppe ferries, old and new, at www.ournewhaven.org.uk, as well as loads more of shipping right throughout the port.

TONIGHT 20:00 Engineering Giants, Ferry Strip Down
Is this TV broadcast announcement where the scrapping of ferries will be shown?

If it weren't about picking over the frames of ships I would have regretted that I cannot receive British telly stations overhere.
But having to watch the demise of grand ship ladies would be too gut-wrenching to me.

No - it was a big dry dock overhaul. Only a few minutes of what happens at lifes end - and the steelworks part of that was good.

Amazingly my wife watched the show from start to finish with genuine interest - go figure that???
