I've made a packing case for the side entrance.  I suppose I'll have to try her out on the water next.   %)

That looking really good Ken It must be almost set for sea trials?
One question regarding the railing Do you end up hand painting the railing? I'm just thinking that it could be quite a pain masking the deck if the railing is already fitted if you wanted to spray it.

I never spray paint the railings as it uses too much paint.  I find the hand painted enamel works a treat, especially the runny stuff I've got in this batch, as it runs around the curves.

I managed to construct some of them outside of the boat so painting was easy. However, some were constructed  'in situ'  as the compound curves were awkward. These were painted on the boat very carefully.  Even so, the next day I looked and found some runs from the stanchions onto the deck.  It wasn't much but this now looks like tiny white washers around the base.   :}

                 We got her the water at last.

Took the opportunity of launching her at the Mayhem meeting at Wicksteed park. Here's the film of her going through her stuff. Quite a turn of speed with those twin props and she behaved impeccably. I really enjoyed sailing her. See if you recognise anyone on the film.

You'll enjoy it Mike.  It will take some time so clear the decks.   :}

Mine is now sold, so I shall miss it, sitting on the shelf. Even my Wife liked it, and that's saying something.  Watch out for swinging crane arm it can swing around and poke you in the eye.    {-)

Cheers
