Well after a monumental body of work by the good people of Wicksteed Model Boat Club….

                       Mayhem at Wicksteed is Back On!

Date:  June 2, 3 ( Long bank holiday weekend, thanks to the Queen’s Jubilee! )

Theme:  Hands across the pond. ( In the spirit of a reconciliation. )

Nominated charity: RNLI   ( I hope you never need them! )


 A few details yet to be finalised but the boys (and ladies) are on the case!

Got a Yacht, Sailboat, Galleon, Footie… the Cutty Sark, flying Gazebo  – Come and sail it at  Wicksteed!
Got a Tug, Pilot boat, container ship, steamer, paddle boat, Supertanker, no-so-supertanker? – Come and sail it at  Wicksteed!
Got a Battleship, Distroyer, Corvette, Aircraft carrier, Gunboat, Submarine, MTC, Torpedo boat? – Come and sail it at  Wicksteed!
Got a Liner (not Costa Concordia!), Ferry, Research ship?  – Come and sail it at  Wicksteed!
Got a speed boat , (not fast IC, sorry ), Leisure or pleasure craft, Canal boat, coble, ebay bargain, plank of wood on a string? ... anything that floats... or sinks!  – Come and sail it at  Wicksteed!
Got a static or show model, work in progress, model in a glass case, bench or demo engine… in fact anything mildly boat or model craft related – come and show it off at Wicksteed!


All pitches are free! Personal, club and Traders, all free…. RNLI donation box on hand.

Wicksteed park model boat club will be running a tombola to raise club funds – please feel free to donate prizes.


 All are invited to come and have some fun at Wicksteed model boating lake – Sat & Sunday, June 2, 3.

 :-) :-)  A very Happy Martin and Mayhem at Wicksteed steering committee  :-) :-)

ps. Mrs Mayhem and little miss mayhem will be next to the Free Tea urn!
