My bog standard Sea Jet goes like stink on a 3 cell Lipo..... :-))
Even a 9.6v Nimh pack makes it shift, you really don't need a faster motor IMHO...
Hope this helps,
Nige  :-)

I have recently had to order a replacement motor for my own Sea Jet, I ordered direct from Robbe Schluter in Leic's as no one else could supply an original motor [600/21 - as robbe call it].

they have actually sent me a rs550 motor as Robbe's own direct superscession motor.

their only suggestion why? its a lesser torque but higher revving..............

im yet to find a replacement drive gear, as mine was "sweated " on originally, not held by traditional "grub screw", so cant say "if" the motor is any good yet.

Hi.. As mentioned previously, the Graupner Speed 600 Race is a very good replacement. You will also get a little more torque and higher revs with this one. Used one for some time in my sea jet until i sold it and purchased the Evo model.
