Bob from Alberta here.  Just starting out.  I've built a Midwest Seguin and a fewer smaller simpler boats.  Looking to get going on some larger tugs and fishing boats.

Hi Bob and welcome to Mayhem. One of our club members built a Midwest Seguin, and a very attractive model it is, too. If you have any questions just ask, there's sure to be someone on the forum who can help you.

Hi Bob,
I have just been looking at the map to see where Ponoka is  - between Calgary and Edmonton!
Is the ice off the lakes yet?
Short sailing season for you folk up there I would guess?
I spent some time in Port Hardy on Van Island way back.

You really are in a remote part of the world. I spent almost a year 35 miles outside Medicine Hat, and thought that was remote  ;)

Peter: I think this Seguin will always be a work in progress, I'm always adding small details.
Nordlys:  my family is in Duncan on Vancouver Island,  and the ice is finally off the lakes!
Tbone:  I think my interest lies in tugs of all types.  I seem to be leaning in that direction.  I'd like to learn more about mold making
Tiger:  haha... its the center of the known universe where I live
Neil: Ponoka's claim to fame is a world class mental health hospital, we're all certified here!
