What lights would a Royal Navy tug such as the envoy or assurance have? Would they be oil or electric?
I am only asking as I've seen the lighting sets by Mobile Marine Models and am thinking of building a Navy Tug.
Cheers, Sam

Hi,
If you look carefully at the photo's further down this page in the ww2 rescue tug thread I believe you will see that they are electric.

Thanks for answering my question.
I knew that they started using electric in the forties but wasn't sure if they were used in WW2 or not.
Cheers,
Sam

I should imagine as these tugs were built for the RN, they had similiar spec to warships when it comes to fittings etc.
