Motor Upgrade

Is it this simple ?
I have identified my motor as the first one , and have found details on the second one as a replacement.
Is it this easy ?  Fit motor two and the boat goes faster ?


Both  Graupner speed motors

Be careful!

With motor two, you have far higher revs and therefore may well need a smaller prop or else you could burn it out. Also, with a smaller prop the motor will rev higher and should be more efficient, cooler and give you better speed. Not sure what your first motor is but it's a real amp guzzler. The second sounds like a Graupner Speed 600 Race.
