Well the fairer sex have been working for several years in Norwegian diesel subs.  Might make for interesting hot bunking though.

Good news though, there are still cultures were it is considered right and correct for the woman to follow her husband a number of steps behind him, maybe that would cheer you up if we introduced that?

Hahah, this made me laugh...

Has anyone seen the number of female military personell who have been pulled back from the middle east due to pregnancy? It's nearing 400 I think, or that might have been the morning after pills handed out... Either way - lol.

UBN's post reminds of the story about Thesiger visiting the desert for the first time after the war. Meeting an old Bedouin friend, he remarked on the signs of social progress: whilst the man still rode on the donkey, his wife now walked in front of him rather than behind. 'No social progress', said the old Bedou, 'landmines'.

That happens in my house lads - wife follows me round tidying up after me. Now that's bad enough on a normal day but when I am are trying to strip wallpaper it drives me absolutely nuts. As for the comment on hot beds - I am a night worker and the hot bed routine works very well for me .............only the wife gets into a cold bed. O0
