I personally can't see why using a Christian name (or given name) is a problem. Or surname for that matter I'm not a secret. I exist. I'm even in the phone book, electoral register etc. Why is everyone full of fear?
Jerry.

I could not agree more, Jerry. In all the years I have been a member of Mayhem I have always used my full name as my avatar, and signed each post with my Christian name. So far I have not had anyone knocking on my door trying to sell me something I don't want, or had any threats on my life as a result of this practice. Like you, I am mystified at the apparent paranoia of people who seem to think that such information leaves them open to who knows what. If anyone wants to find me it's very easy to do so as I'm also in the phone book and electoral roll etc. However, as has been said on Mayhem many times in the past, the choice is up to each individual member, and will remain so.

many years ago I had a cheap airbrush, and fed up with buying cans of compressed air to use it I found that you could run it off an old car wheel/ tyre. I used to pump the tyre to  40 psi and would get a good half hour use before needing to pump the tyre up again.

No Stavros, it's me from Llyn Padarn, with Parat. Don't be confused. Mermod and I got mixed up in a melt down. Don't wish to hijack this thread but saw opportunity to get it sorted. I'll leave now.
Best regards, Jerry.
