Is this a nautical unit ?
The power of beauty to motivate collective effort and inspiration is as old as Troy. Christopher Marlowe described Helen as ‘The face that launched a thousand ships’. This got me wondering if there was any scientific way of quantifying the amount of inspiration and effort that we invest into bringing a new model boat to the water.
ie: if Helen, as a unit, may be described as the impetus to launch a thousand ships, then logically to launch a single ship would require one mH (mille Helen), and at 1/96 scale this would be 10.4 micro Helens.
That means I am about 6.2 mico Helens into my latest build.
