Yes Bluebird, she's the River Class former HMS Winrush - French Navy La Découverte and later Lucifer II as firefighting training ship at Querqueville close to Cherbourg

I have been looking at Ferries again  :} ......... or wasting time as my good wife calls it.  %)

How about this Xtian? Am I correct?

1974 Camille Marcoux - IMO 7343578 running Matane-Baie-Comeau-Godbout.
Here's an article  - halfway down the page there's a small image of her propellers (sadly it won't enlarge)
http://www.groupeverreault.com/en/newsletter/index.asp see Vol 38 section.

There are eight general photos of her here
http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/search.php?query=camille+marcoux&x=32&y=8
and one here - open wide now
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Cmarcoux3.JPG
I read somewhere she can icebreak too and is an all year round ferry but I'm not sure re ice.

Tell you what I can never find - photos of ferries etc being launched. {:-{ I do search for them.

YEP you are the winner !  She is the Camille Marcoux I took this picture at Godbout - Quebec.

I was searching for an US ferry but the one I have taken by myself are too easy : Puget Sound, Alaska and New York !  So I came to my Canadian ferries data with this one.

Your turn Norseman  :-))

Oh - Puget Sound images are always welcome  O0

Here we go then - built as a ferry in 1961 servicing a pulp mill community, sold for use as a work
boat in 2002 and briefly appeared in at least one film (pic 3) after that sale. I see she is now up
or sale again for $can 199,500.   N

Dave .................. sorry it's another ferry lads

OOH  :-))

Just one ferry - two names for it. I'll take either
but both gets extra credit - but if you
name the film too then I'm really impressed.

Modify your answer LB ?

Hi LB

I think/believe that only one element of four elements  in your answer is correct.

I'm lost.

From what I have LB

It's not Garabaldi or Westwood, and the present name is not the A.J. Savoie  ;)

However it was the originally the A.J. Savoie

Given that do you want to continue for the current name? Or should I declare my information?

Dave :-)
