You give good clues - I follow them ........ but you can take me for a few pints  :}
Warships are what I really really struggle with
oh and modern ferries - I like much older stuff

I haven't got anything to post now - so the board is open to anyone

Anchor is cockbill I think
Used to call it that when attached to the cathead ready for letting go.

If you look down the page it calls it Catted as it is hung from the cathead.

No, I was interested but just couldn't find it - Wel done LB.

I was hung up on the anchor - I saw something similar on a build
- might have been the Insect Class, HMS Gnat in China. Anyway
the anchors were kept up to avoid snagging all the bodies floating
about if I remember rightly.

A fine picture of this vessel - the finest that I've ever seen of her in fact; should be so, so easy.

My auntie Beattie used to live in Lucania St in Garston
if I remember rightly lots of the streets had ship's names.
I think they are all demolished now.

Now I'm going to be stuck thinking what the those names were.

Indeed, indeed, there was very little exterior difference, mainly in the area of the aftermost lifeboat on the boat deck so, which one is it?

Sorry LB

I still think it's Lucania - that's why I mentioned my aunt once lived in Lucania street.
